The primary objective of GSM’s POOCHO Helpline is to provide FP and SRH information, counseling and referral services to the clients across the country. POOCHO also provides backup support to GSM’s large network of Sabz Sitara Network Providers. Another valuable service provided to the callers through POOCHO is side effects management counseling. FP product information is also ensured through the helpline for the FMCG outlets and pharmacies.

Counseling Services

One of the main features of POOCHO is promoting Post-partum IUCD services (PPIUCD). The scope of counseling services has been extended to include pre-marital and newly-wed counseling through the Helpline. GSM has also introduced a feedback and complaint lodging, tracking and resolution system for its clients, Sabz Sitara Network providers, field teams, pharmacies and FMCG outlets through the helpline to enhance the quality of services and ensure consistent FP supplies across the country.
