In Pakistan, where
per-capita GNP is low and affordability
and access to quality health products and
services are low, Greenstar works through
the private sector and with the Government
of Pakistan to improve access, demand and
affordability of high-quality health products
and services.
Through Partnership we can address the underlying
causes of ill health by promoting prevention,
education and economic well-being within
the community, achieving equity of access
to health services. During past years we
have been working very hard to develop some
strong partnerships to help our people become
healthier. We are extremely proud of this
heritage and the partnerships we have forged
with public and private sector.
We are grateful to our partners to help
us achieve the common goal. I am pleased
to share the first issue of electronic newsletter
“Health Link” which is another
effort to keep our strong partnership alive
and well informed.
Please tour our website, explore our programs,
and I encourage you to contact us directly
with any questions about us and the services
we provide. |

Greenstar Meeting Health
Care Needs Of Pakistani Women
Every year in Pakistan, due to lack of availability
of affordable & quality contraceptive
methods.

250,000 women terminating pregnancy are
treated for complications resulting from
unsafe abortion.

One of every 4 women receiving obstetric
care services from unskilled providers are
later hospitalized for complications and
risk their lives.
Recognizing the health issue, Greenstar
advocates quality health care services for
every Pakistani woman.
