The U.K.'s Department for International Development
(DFID) has provided support for contraceptive commodities
in a tripartite agreement with USAID and UNFPA to
facilitate Greenstar's implementation of Improving
Pakistani Family Planning and Reproductive Health
Services.
UNFPA:

The United Nations Fund for Population Activities
(UNFPA) has shared the provision of commodities support
to Greenstar with DFID since 2003. UNFPA does much

The David and Lucille Packard Foundation has supported
the marketing of Emergency Contraceptive Pills (ECP)
and training of providers in the use of ECP since
2004. After a successful pilot promoting ECP in Karachi,
the Packard Foundation is now supporting a national
scale-up of provider training, ECP marketing and a
hotline to answer questions and give referrals for
ECP and non-emergency methods of family planning.
KfW:

The German Government's Kreditanstalt f¨¹r
Wiederaufbau (KfW) has supported Greenstar's
work in family planning over the last decade. Currently,
KfW will be supporting a new project to make available
reproductive health services across Northwest Frontier

We are grateful to our primary donor, USAID, as well
as KfW, the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria,
DFID, UNFPA, John Snow, Inc., The David & Lucille
Packard Foundation, Proctor & Gamble, The Micronutrient
Initiative, and Population Services International.
Moreover, Greenstar and GoodLife receives immeasurable
support from our key government collaborating partners
- the Ministry of Population Welfare and the
Ministry of Health. We thank you for helping us improve
quality of life among low-income Pakistanis.
